Kathmandu. Season 2 of Netflix’s much-awaited series ‘Squid Game’ is currently streaming. Even in Nepal, the number of viewers watching this series is significant.
Netflix has not released the official data yet. However, on the day of its premiere, the series has become the most watched series worldwide since December 26, according to international media.
Within 24 hours of its release, the series topped the most watched list in 92 countries. This list includes America, India, South Korea, UK, Australia, Thailand, Brazil, France, Mexico, South Africa, Argentina and other countries. This series is ranked second in New Zealand.
This South Korean series has an 8 out of 10 rating on IMDB and a 95 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The story of the main character Seong Gi-hoon, who returns to the deadly game after three years, is in the second season. In the first season, Gi-hoon, who participated in order to earn money to get rid of debt, is in the second season in a struggle to stop this deadly game.
If you have watched the first part then the second series might be more interesting. This time also 456 players are competing in the deadly game. The second season has a total of 7 episodes.
According to Hwang Dong-Hyuk, the creator of ‘Squid Game’, the third season is also on the way. In an interview with Variety magazine, Hyuk said that the third season will probably come in the summer of next year.
