Kathmandu. Pradeep Khadka’s film career completed a decade last May. He started his film career as a producer. The film he produced was Big Man.
His acting career will complete a decade in February 2025. His debut film as an actor ‘Escape’ was released in 2015. His upcoming film will be released on 16th January.
In this context, he has discussed his career and the future through a video message on social media. He said that his film journey was very challenging as an ‘outsider’ who has no connection and background with the film industry. “I am slowly learning the journey of the film,” he said.
I took things like pre-production, production, post-production easily, as a job. However, the more challenging thing was – whether the film will be made or not, whether the film will run or not, etc.,’ he recalled. He commented that only the audience can decide whether the film will run or not.
“Until now, what I understand is that whether a film is made or not depends on the circumstances and the maker, but only the audience can decide whether the film will work or not,” he said.
He has explained the journey of life and acting as a journey of the heart. He says, ‘If there are no ups and downs and challenges in life, it would probably be like a heart rate graph, as long as there are ups and downs, you are alive, and when the graph is straight, you are a dead body. So I am proud, I had those ups and downs in my life. I was able to move forward in my acting journey sometimes up and sometimes down. And, I always got support from you.’
He said that he felt the ups and downs in this journey while being happy to be a part of the magical journey and the world. He has also said in the video that his journey in the film ‘Actor’ is more interesting than his journey as an actor.
