Kathmandu. Comedian Ghanshyam Gautam (fake Prachanda) has been admitted to Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) in Sinamangal on Wednesday morning due to health complications.
Gautam’s wife Yugjyoti said that although he was taken to the hospital at night, he was admitted only at 5 am. Now he is undergoing treatment in the Medicine High Care Ward of KMC. According to Yugjyoti, Gautam was earlier admitted to the human organ transplant center in Bhaktapur.
Gautam was discharged from the hospital saying that there was no problem with his kidneys. After that, he was taken to KMC for admission on Wednesday night itself. In that process, Yugjyoti said through social media that initially the hospital refused to admit her and later she was admitted on request.
Even now, his condition is critical and doctors are treating him. Artist Gautam was diagnosed with bowel cancer a year and a half ago. Since then, he has been undergoing treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital and a few months ago he reached New Delhi, India for further treatment.
Gautam, who acted in various teleserials, is famous among the audience because of his character called ‘Nakkali Prachanda’. Some time ago, he also asked the Chairman of the Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, to help him in the treatment.
