Kathmandu. Nepal International Theater Festival (Nitfest) is going to be held from Chait 6th under the organization of Mandala Theater. The festival will be held until World Theater Day on 14th Chait.
The statement issued by the coordinator of the festival, Kedar Shrestha, states that the third edition of Knitfest is going to be held with the slogan ‘A stage for social transformation: the light of enlightenment’.
The third edition of the festival will feature actor Dayahang Rai as the director. Actor and artist Rai has been selected as the director by Mandala Theater and Knitfest combination group.
It is said that this year’s Knitfest will be held at various places outside Kathmandu along with Mandala Theatre. Applications for plays and programs were invited for the festival last June. The program of the festival and the lineup of selected plays will be announced soon.
